Steamed White Chocolate Cheesecake

What you will need:

250gm cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons caster sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons finely grated lemon rind
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup sour cream or mascarpone
½ cup thickened cream
100gm white cooking chocolate, melted

Steamed White Chocolate Cheesecake


How to make it:

Lightly greased and line the base of a 20cm round cake tin

Place cream cheese and sugar in a food processor and process until smooth. With motor running add cornflour and eggs one at a time.

Pour chocolate mixture into cake tin. Tightly cover with foil

Place cake tin on rack on shelf position 1 in Kleenmaid Combi Steam Oven SO4510

Steam 100oC for 40 minutes or until set. Uncover and cool. Chill until required.

SERVING SUGGESTION: serve topped with seasonal fruits or accompanied with Steamed Berry Sauce

VARIATION: 

White Chocolate Pots
Make white chocolate cheesecake recipe as above.

Pour mixture into chinese tea cups, or espresso coffee cups filling 2/3 full. Tightly cover with foil. Steam 100oC in the Kleenmaid Combi Steam Oven SO4510 for 15 minutes or until set. Uncover and cool. Chill until required.

Makes 12 cups.

Serve with Steamed Berry Sauce
