Your Kleenmaid Warranty
Warranty terms and conditions
KLEENMAID products are manufactured to the highest standards using only the best quality materials. Each and every product is tested before it leaves the factory to ensure it reaches you, the purchaser, in perfect condition. However, should anything go wrong KLEENMAID products are covered by a two year manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty is issued by Compass Capital Services Pty Limited ABN 96 138 214 525 trading as Kleenmaid (“KLEENMAID”) and is in addition to all statutory rights which you have under relevant laws.
What your Kleenmaid warranty covers
KLEENMAID guarantees that any fault caused by defective materials or workmanship will be rectified free of charge provided the fault is notified to KLEENMAID or its designated service provider within two years of the purchase date. This warranty covers the cost of all parts and labour required to rectify the fault provided that all such work is conducted during normal working hours and the product is located within KLEENMAID or its designated service provider’s normal service area.
What your Kleenamaid warranty does not cover
This warranty does not cover any faults or damage caused by improper use, accident, neglect, abuse, normal wear and tear, water ingress, misuse, improper installation, damage caused whilst the product is being transported or any other fault other than that which is due directly to defective materials or workmanship. KLEENMAID is also not responsible for any consequential loss or damage caused by or resulting from a defective product. This warranty, specifically, does not cover consumables such as filters or replacement of light globes or glass breakage due to impact. Where the product is located outside KLEENMAID or its designated service provider’s normal service area you must either pay the cost of transporting the product to and from the nearest service provider for repair or the service provider’s travel costs to repair the product.
Purchaser's Responsibility
You must make the product available for repair and you will be responsible for any costs incurred for de-installation and/or re-installation of the product in order to carry out such repair. You must also provide documentary proof of purchase to KLEENMAID or its designated service provider prior to any repair work being carried out. Inability to provide documentary proof of purchase may render any warranty claim invalid.
How to make a warranty claim
If you wish to make a claim according to the terms of this warranty, you should contact a KLEENMAID approved service provider. The service provider will assess the product and any alleged faults, and where deemed to be a warranty claim will carry out any required repair work. Where the alleged fault is determined by the service provider not to be covered by the terms of this warranty, the cost of the service call will not be covered by KLEENMAID and will be payable by you.
